For now, RPM are available for fedora ≥ 17 and Enterprise Linux ≥ 5 (RHEL, CentOS, ...), int the remi-test repository.

This will be a Fedora 19 feature.

Attention Information :

  • The new  opcode cache "Zend OPcache" provided by the php-opcache package (which obsoletes php-pecl-zendoptimizerplus)
  • The php-mysql have been removed (obsoleted by php-mysqlnd)
  • The gmp extension have moved from php-common to the new php-gmp package
  • The shmop extension have moved from php-common to php-process package
  • The xml and simplexml extensions have moved from php-common to php-xml package
  • More shared extensions (bz2, calendar, ctype, exif, ftp, gettext, iconv, sockets and tokenizer, still in php-common)
  • dtrace/systemtap enabled build

Of course this version is not to be used in production environment, even if I'm a bit crazy and already use it on this server.
